At The Clarence, guests can choose from fifty bedrooms and suites. The rooms range from Standard through Deluxe and on to the River View and Garden Terrace Suites. The rooms furnishings are classic: with oak shaker beds dressed in crisp white linens, matching furniture and leather seating all of which have been custom designed primarily by Irish artisans.
The hotel aim to cater for the needs of their guests and offer around the clock room service, with complimentary WiFi available in all rooms. The bathrooms boast cotton rich cosy towelling and a selection of complimentary Paul Costelloe toiletries.

Situated in the heart of Ireland’s capital city, on East Essex Street in the popular Temple Bar area, Cleaver East Restaurant offers the finest Irish and European cuisine.

The Octagon Bar is at the heart of The Clarence, a beautiful room situated in the exact same space as the original hotel bar. With an octagon shaped dome rising high above the central bar, it is the perfect setting for a glamorous gathering of friends over cocktails or pre match pints with mates.

Dublin’s lively Temple Bar District is just a 2-minute walk from The Clarence, while O’Connell Street and Grafton Street are both 10 minutes’ walk away. Trinity College and Dublin Castle are less than 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
