Airlink Bus #747: Dublin Airport – D’Olier St
The Airlink bus is one of the most direct and efficient ways to Dublin City Centre. It runs every 15mins on the hour and can be found outside both Terminal 1 & Terminal 2. Tickets can be bought on board, from the bus driver. The Airlink accepts notes and dispenses change.

Directions: The stop to get off at is “D’Olier St”. Once off the bus continue straight down the road until you reach a set of traffic lights. Cross the road and turn right before “Doyle’s pub”. Follow this lane until the next street, “Westmoreland St”. Across the road you will see “Thai Orchid” restaurant. Temple Bar Inn is located directly behind it. The hotel is directly across from “T.G.I Friday’s” and before Tesco Express.
Public Bus Service
The cheapest way to travel to the Temple Bar Inn from the Airport is by public bus. There are two main buses servicing Dublin City Centre, where Temple Bar Inn is located. These buses only accept exact change on board or a ticket can be bought in the ticket machine at the terminal. Once on the bus there is an intercom announcement made at each stop to inform you of its location.

Directions: The number 41 bus can be located at the arrivals bus depot in Dublin Airport. The stop to get off at is “O’Connell St”. Cross the street at The Spire, to the opposite side of the road. Walk left, straight down this road, cross over O’Connell Bridge and continue straight. Take the first right at “Chopped” and the Temple Bar Inn entrance is on the right hand side.

Luas (Tram): Heuston Station – Abbey St
The fastest and most convenient form of transport from Heuston Station to the Temple Bar Inn is by Luas. Tickets for the Luas must be bought from the ticket machine located at each Luas stop. The Luas will announce its destination at each stop.

Directions: The stop to get off at is “Abbey St”. Once off the Luas walk back up the street, from the direction you came from, to the end of the road, at O’Connell St. Cross over the street to the far side of the road (at “Supermacs”). Walk left along this road, keep walking over O’Connel bridge and continue straight. Take the first right at “Chopped” and the Temple Bar Inn entrance is on the right hand side.
