South of England Event Centre

The South of England Event Centre is located at the South of England Showground in the village of Ardingly, West Sussex.

The South of England Event Centre is the home of the South of England Agricultural Society, a registered charity which exists to promote agriculture and allied industries and to advance education in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and forestry. The Society organises four major annual events including the Spring Garden & Leisure Show, South of England Show, Autumn Show & Game Fair and Winter Fair which attract over 110,000 visitors per annum.

All profits from hire of the South of England Event Centre are donated to the Society to help fund the Society’s charitable projects.

Parking

You will be able to park at the South of England Event Centre for a charge of £10.00 per car (cash only). All profits from parking charges will be donated to the South of England Agricultural Society, a charity that funds and supports agricultural education and countryside learning.

We have parking for 6,000 vehicles, a trade lorry park and room for over 200 cars on tarmac close to the Norfolk Pavilion.

Disabled toilets

Disabled toilets are located within Norfolk Pavilion and Queen’s Jubilee Hall.

The South of England Event Centre is in the heart of the beautiful West Sussex countryside but close to all major transport links. We are situated in the village of Ardingly, 5 miles north of Haywards Heath.

By Road

The main entrance to the South of England Event Centre is on the B2028 Selsfield Road close to the centre of Ardingly village. For Sat Nav use RH17 6TL.

From the M25, exit at junction 7 and follow the M23 towards Brighton; leave at junction 10 and take the A264 towards East Grinstead; after approximately 2 miles turn right onto the B2028; after passing through the villages of Turners Hill and Selsfield Common you will arrive at the South of England Event Centre on your right.

By Bus

There is a bus stop situated close to the main entrance to the Showground where bus no. 272 from Kemp Town and Haywards Heath stops.

By Rail

The nearest railway station is Haywards Heath which is on the main line between London Victoria and Brighton. Journey times are 45 minutes from London Victoria and 20 minutes from Brighton followed by a 10 minute journey by bus to the Event Centre.
