Description

Rooms

Scandic Malmen's Bistro overlooks the bustling square Medborgarplatsen. The restaurant serves lunch in the day and in the evening there is an à la carte menu of classic Swedish food with a modern twist. You may also order selected dishes from the bar menu when the bistro is closed on Sundays.
Directions
From Stockholm Central Station - By underground: From the City Terminal take the Metro, located under the station. Take one of the green southbound lines towards Farsta, Hagsätra or Skarpnäck. The journey should take about 5 minutes. Get off at Medborgarplatsen, the third stop after The Old Town and Slussen. The hotel is located above the Folkungagatan exit. It is also a 20-minute walk to the Scandic Malmen hotel or a short taxi ride.
By taxi: Take a taxi from Stockholm Central Station to the Scandic Malmen hotel. The journey should take around 5 minutes.
From Stockholm Arlanda Airport - By train: There are 2 stations at the airport - Arlanda South for terminals 2, 3 and 4 and North for terminal 5. A single ticket costs SEK200. When you arrive at Stockholm Central Station take the Metro 3 stops on either the Farsta, Hagsätra or Skarpnäck Line to Medborgarplatsen station, which lies just below the Scandic Malmen hotel.
By bus: Take the 27-mile journey by airport bus from any terminal at Arlanda International Airport to City Terminal (level one at Central Station), just 1.5 miles from the Scandic Malmen hotel. From the City Terminal take the Metro, located under the station. Take one of the green southbound lines towards Farsta, Hagsätra or Skarpnäck. The journey should take about 5 minutes.
