By Car
Exit the roundabout onto Eastfield Road and at the next roundabout, take the 1st exit to stay on Eastfield Road then stay slightly left and merge onto Glasgow Road/A8. After almost 4 miles turn right onto Balgreen Road and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Stevenson Road. Continue onto Westfield Road and then straight onto West Approach Road turning right eventually onto Lothian Road/A700. Take the first left onto Bread Street and continue onto West Port, straight onto Grassmarket and at the roundabout go straight through onto Cowgatehead. Turn right onto Guthrie Street and then take a left onto Chambers Street and finally left onto South Bridge/A7. The Hilton Edinburgh Carlton will be on your right.
Parking
Public parking is possible at the Waverley Car Park whose entrance is on New Street. Guests staying at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton receive a 20% discount on advertised car park rates. From the hotel turn left onto High Street then along the Royal Mile, turn left on New Street and the car park entrance is towards the end of the street on your left hand side. The car park is a 3 minute drive and a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
By Bus
Walk about 3 minutes from the airport to the Hilton hotel and take the number 100 bus to Waverley Bridge. From here it is a 5 minute walk to the Carlton Edinburgh hotel. The bus departs every 10 minutes and the journey takes approx. 35 minutes from door to door.
By Tram
A tram is also available from the airport and brings passengers to Princes Street in approx. 35 minutes. From Princes Street it is a 10 minute walk to the hotel.
