Altice Arena
Directions
In the heart of Parque das Nações, Altice Arena is in an accessible location thanks to the main roads that serve the eastern part of Lisbon. The Fluvial Terminal and Gare do Oriente provides cars, taxis, buses and trucks a direct connection (5 minutes) to Lisbon International Airport from the venue.
The arena is closest to the Oriente Station on the train and Metro on the D Line. The full metro map and route planner can be viewed here.
By Car
Head east on Largo Mitelo towards Campo Mártires da Pátri. Continue onto Paço da Rainha which turns right and becomes Calçada Conde Pombeiro. Turn right onto Aua dos Anjos.
Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Av. Alm. Reis and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Av. Aml. Gago Coutinho. Turn right onto Av. Mal. António de Spinola and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Av. Infante Dom Henrique. Continue straight and then turn left to stay on the same road. Follow the signs for A1 Norte/A12 Sul/P.te V. Gama/Pq das Nações. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right towards R. João Pinto Ribeiro and keep left to continue towards it. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit towards R. João Pinto Ribeiro and continue on Av. Boa Esperança. At Praça do Venturoso, take the 2nd exit and stay on the same road.
At Rotunda dos Vice-reis, take the 1st exit onto Alameda dos Oceanos.
Parking
The closest carpark to the Altice Arena is the TEJO Park, right at the end of Rua do Bojador. The Parque das Nações also has several other parks where you can leave your vehicle.
By Metro
This is the fastest way to reach the Parque das Nações from the city centre. It’s approximately a 30-minute journey from the Baixa.
Your final destination is the Oriente station on the red line located inside one of Lisbon’s main transport hubs. Go through the Vasco da Gama shopping centre, and head straight to the riverfront.
Depending on your location, you may choose any of the three interchange stations – Alameda (green line), São Sebastião (blue line) and Saldanha (yellow line) – to take the red line and get to your final destination – the Oriente station.
At the Oriente station, go to the east exit. To reach the waterfront, just follow the signs.
By Bus
Several buses departing from the city centre stop at the Oriente station, namely #708 (from the Martim Moniz Square), #750 and #782 (from the Cais do Sodré), #759 (from the Restauradores), #794 (from the Terreiro do Paço). The Viva Viagem card is also valid on buses.
At the Oriente station, go to the east exit. To reach the waterfront, just follow the signs.
By Hop-On Hop-Off Bus
Another practical option to reach this part of the city is to get on board of a sightseeing bus. Both the Olisipo Tour offered by Yellow Bus, and the blue route operated by City Sightseeing, stop at the Parque das Nações.

Box Office Opening hours
1:00 to 7.00 PM - Monday to sunday
On event days, the Box Office is open for an extra hour after the start of the main performance on stage.
Two ATMs are available in the venue: one inside the lobby, close to the central entrance doors, and another inside the arena.
Altice Arena provides several bars inside the venue where you can get a light meal or snacks prior to a show. Cash only.
A cloakroom service is available at Altice Arena close to the central entrance doors, where you can hand in your personal belongings for safekeeping - €1 a piece.
Admission may be subject to an inspection of personal effects, a body search or screening. Admission will be refused to any person behaving, or appearing to behave violently, aggressively or disorderly.
No person will be admitted if carrying items that may be considered dangerous or if bringing animals.
There will be no admission after the event has started, unless expressly authorized by the ushers.
In the venue the following are strictly forbidden:
- selling or offering for sale any political, promotional or commercial material, or objects that are considered dangerous;
- carrying food or drink;
- bringing cameras or any video and sound recording equipment;
- smoking
