The Music Hall is Scotland’s concert hall in the North-east, located at the heart of the city centre on Union Street.  It’s a much loved, iconic venue that’s been a big part of cultural, civic and community life in the city for more than 150 years.

The Music Hall stage and present music across the spectrum – classical, rock and pop, Scottish traditional, folk, jazz, roots and blues. They welcome internationally renowned and home grown artists from Paloma Faith and Emile Sande to Steven Osborne and the London Philharmonia and their stand up strand attracts stellar, sell out comedians like Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr, Billy Connolly and Sarah Millican. 

Located in the heart of Aberdeen, the Music Hall is ideally located for a coffee and cake or a light lunch. The Music Hall cafe offers a chance to take yourself off the bustle of Union Street and into the dramatic surroundings of the Mary Garden Room.

Bar facilities are also available for performances and the venue with the Square Room and the Doric Bar open for refreshments before and after shows.

Getting there

Parking
Car parking is available in Golden Square, behind the Music Hall. There is a multi-storey car park on the corner of Huntley Street and Chapel Street. Designated disabled parking places are on the opposite side to the Music Hall in Golden Square.

Public Transportation
Most buses go along Union Street except Nos 5, 12, 13 & 26 Nearest Rail: Aberdeen.
