KEW THE MUSIC
WHICH GATE TO USE?
• Entrance and exit for all ticket holders is via Victoria Gate or Shaft Yard, both on Kew Road.
• Access for disabled guests plus one additional carer from 5.45pm at either gate.
• IMPORTANT: Please note that there is no public entrance or exit via Elizabeth Gate.
HOW TO GET THERE ?
By bicycle
Bike park racks are available at Victoria Gate. Please note owners leave bikes at their own risk.
By London Underground
Kew Gardens Station (District Line – Richmond branch and London Overground) is the closest London Underground station, and is in zone 3.
Kew Gardens Station is 400 metres from the Victoria Gate entrance to the Gardens. Exit the station past the parade of shops, cross Sandycombe Road at the zebra crossing and walk down Lichfield Road (opposite) to reach Victoria Gate.
If you are a wheelchair user or find stairs difficult, there is no direct accessible exit to Kew Gardens from the westbound platform. It is advisable to continue your journey to Richmond (one stop) and catch a tube or train back to Kew Gardens, where the eastbound platform leads out via a level exit to the Kew village area. From here it is a distance of approximately 400 metres to the Victoria Gate entrance to the Gardens on Kew Road.
By train
Train services (South West Trains) from Waterloo, via Vauxhall and Clapham Junction, stop at Kew Bridge Station. Kew Bridge Station is 1.3km from the Shaft Yard entrance to Kew the Music via Kew Bridge. For more information call 08457 484950.
The London Overground service from Stratford stops at Kew Gardens Station.
Richmond station is served by National Rail and there is a lift to street level and level access to the pavement from the station concourse. The bus stop for the local bus route which travels in the direction of Kew Gardens (65, in the direction of Ealing Broadway) is on the opposite side of the street from the station. The bus stops near Victoria Gate.

By bus
Route 65 between Ealing Broadway and Kingston, via Richmond town centre, stops close to Victoria Gate. Route 391 between Fulham and Richmond stops near Kew Gardens station. Routes 237 and 267 stop at Kew Bridge station.
Parking
Traffic restrictions do apply during the concerts, and local parking is extremely limited. Kew the Music car parking will operate at Brentford Gate Car Park, Ferry Lane, TW9 3AF.There are approximately 180 spaces and car parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Please note, however, that there will be no entrance to the concert from the car park, and the nearest entry gate is Shaft Yard Gate, which is approximately 1.6 km away.
Kew cannot reserve spaces, so please allow time to park.
Drop off/pick up area: There is a designated pick-up/drop-off area between Pavilion and Victoria Gate. From here it is approximately 300 metres to Victoria Gate, the nearest entry. The area will be coned off and will have signage to demarcate it.
Disabled parking
There are three marked disabled parking spaces on Kew Green approximately 700 metres from the nearest concert entrance at Shaft Yard Gate. (Elizabeth Gate is closed to the general public during Kew the Music.) These are public spaces on the public highway, and these are available on a first come, first served basis.
Access to the arena
• A disabled guest plus one carer may enter from 5.45pm (15 minutes before the general public).
• The concert site has flat, step-free access throughout. It should still be noted that some areas of the grounds at the event site are uneven and special care should be taken while moving around the site.
Disabled viewing area
• There is a designated disabled viewing area at the concert. The stewarding team, wearing yellow high-visability vests, will be on hand to guide you to the location.
• The disabled viewing area is located in the centre of the arena.
• The space in the disabled viewing area is solely for the use of disabled guests plus one carer per guest.
Queuing
If you plan to arrive early, we recommend you bring a folding chair for the queue.
Toilets
There are accessible toilets:
• at the back of the arena in the mobile toilet block.
• within easy reach from the disabled viewing area.
Wheelchair access and guide dogs
• There are wheelchairs at either gate available on a first-come, first-served basis. Mobility scooters are not available.
• Guide dogs or registered disability assistance dogs are allowed within the Gardens. Other dogs are not allowed.
