Directions

PARKING There is a car and coach drop-off point outside the building with a maximum stay of 15 minutes. There is a pay & display car park directly adjacent to The Sands Centre with 259 spaces. The car park is administered by Carlisle City Council (please visitwww.carlisle.gov.ukfor further information).

BY CAR FROM THE MOTORWAY The Sands Centre is situated next to Hardwicke Circus, a 10 minute walk from the city centre. If travelling by car the centre is well signposted from the M6 - if travelling south use junction 44 or travelling north use junction 43 (for sat navs use CA1 1JE).

BY TRAIN The railway and bus stations are only a short distance away.

EATING AND DRINKING: The No.10 Café, at the rear of The Sands Centre, is the perfect place to come and relax. It is a popular place for walkers to stop and unwind as it opens onto popular park and riverside walks and the Hadrian's Walk route.The café is also an ideal place for Sands Centre customers, shoppers or those simply requiring refreshment and relaxation, with easy parking situated nearby. The café operates the bar, so feel free to come and enjoy a drink or two before or after any of our shows or if you just fancy a relax by the River Eden. Bars close at 11pm or 30 minutes after a show, whichever is later. The Management reserves the right to modify bar closing times for late night events or at times of low patronage after a show.
