Open everyday from midday, the Wellie Bar & Grill at the Wellington Park Hotel offers a contemporary dining experience. The menu is varied and features international influences as well as Northern Irish specialities and favourites. As the lights dim and the sun sets, the restaurant takes on a more intimate feel, igniting the Head Chef’s passion for local fish dishes and traditional beef dishes. The Wellie Bar, as it’s affectionately known, is a Belfast institution and no Saturday night is complete without a visit! This popular venue provides lots of space, comfort, good music and live sporting events on big screen and plasma TV’s. Plus, you can dance the night away on Friday or Saturday night with a local DJ from 9pm until late.

Driving Directions from George Best Belfast City Airport

• Cross over the bypass taking A2 toward Belfast City Centre
• Follow the signs for the City Centre
• Continue over Queen's Bridge and turn left on to Oxford Street, keeping in the right hand side lane
• At next set of traffic lights (the Waterfront Hall will be on the left hand side), turn right and continue to the end of this road
• Turn left on to Great Victoria Street and follow the one way system, turning right at the UGC Cinema
• Continue straight ahead through Shaftesbury Square, keeping on the left hand lane
• Queen's University will be visible on the left hand side, continue straight ahead and the Wellington Park Hotel will be on the right hand

Driving Directions from Belfast International Airport

• As you leave the Airport follow the main road until you arrive at the Templepatrick roundabout
• When you reach the roundabout, take the second turnoff, through to Templepatrick village
• At the other side of Templepatrick, you will approach another roundabout - go through it and follow signs for M2 Belfast
• Continue on M2 and follow signs for Westlink
• On the Westlink take second exit (Grosvenor Road/City Centre), turning left and stopping at traffic lights (keeping in the right hand lane)
• Continue on Great Victoria Street following the one way system, turning right at the UGC Cinema
• Continue straight ahead through Shaftsbury Square, keeping in the left hand lane
• Queen's University will be visible on the left hand side, continue straight ahead, and the Wellington Park Hotel will be on the right hand side, on the Malone Road

From Dublin

• Exit M1 at the sign for "Balmoral and the Kings Hall"
• At the next roundabout take the sign for the Kings Hall
• Continue straight through the next junction on Balmoral Avenue, up to the next traffic lights and turn left onto the Malone Road
• Follow this for approximately 2 miles to Wellington Park Hotel, 21 Malone Road
