Directions
By Road - Portsmouth enjoys good road connections with the A3(M) / A3 putting London one and a half hours away by car. The M275 / M27 / A27 connects the city with Britain’s motorway network.

By Rail - Portsmouth’s stations offer direct service to London (80 mins) and are well connected to other major cities. It’s just 200 metres from Portsmouth and Southsea station to the Guildhall.

By Air - Southampton International Airport is 20 miles from the centre of Portsmouth and has flights to and from 40 European destinations. London Gatwick and London Heathrow are both approximately 60 miles away and Bournemouth just 50 miles.

By Sea - Portsmouth is served by regular crossings to and from the Isle of wight, France, Spain and the Channel Islands.

Parking

Isambard Brunel Multi Storey Car Park has 460 spaces and is 200m from Portsmouth Guildhall. When attending a show with Guildhall you can purchase an ‘exit ticket’ for this car park, either at the point of booking or on the day of the show, at the price of £4.50. Exit tickets must be exchanged for the ticket taken at the barrier and are valid from 6pm – 12am on the evening of the show. Exit tickets can be collected during Box Office opening hours and before the start of a show.

There are a very limited number of on street parking spaces outside the venue.

Portsmouth Park & Ride operates daily until 8pm, Monday – Saturday, and 6.45pm on Sundays. www.parkandrideportsmouth.gov.uk 

Information

The two ground floor bars and circle bar are open 45 minutes before the start of a concert and the Harlequin Restaurant opens from 10.00am until 2.30pm for either coffee and a snack or a more substantial lunch. Pre concert dinners are available at many of our shows and can be booked in advance (tel 023 9283 4566.)
